The general patrol launch has upgraded electronics for navigation and enhanced search capabilities. These boats are designed for quick response with speeds up to 95 km/h. The Marine Unit has two other similar vessels for patrol and emergency response. The back side walls can be removed to make it easier to pull people from the water.
