National Truth and Reconciliation Day


Community Partnerships and Engagement Unit

The Toronto Police Service's Aboriginal Consultative Committee is hosting a National Truth and Reconciliation Day event on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Toronto Police Headquarters (40 College Street). This event is in advance of National Truth and Reconciliation Day on Friday, September 30, 2022.

The Red Bear Singers will be performing and remarks will be made by Toronto Police Services Board Chair, Jim Hart, and Police Chief James Ramer. An art exhibit consisting of hundreds of orange paper cranes entitled DEBWEWIN, meaning “Truth”, is being displayed.
