Four Boys Arrested For Assaulting TTC Employees,
Kennedy Road and Merrian Road
The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of arrests made in an assault investigation.
On Monday, January 23, 2023, at approximately 3:35 p.m., police received a call for an Assault in the Kennedy Road and Merrian Road area.
It is alleged that:
- there was an altercation between a group of boys on board a TTC bus
- two TTC employees who were on the bus were physically assaulted by the boys
- the group of boys fled the area
Through extensive investigation and review of TTC video surveillance, four male suspects were identified and arrested.
Two 13-year-old boys have been charged with:
- Assault

They will appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 2 p.m. in room 407.
