The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance with an Aggravated Assault investigation.

On Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 2:17 a.m., police responded to a call for Stabbing in the Yonge Street and Dundas Street East area.

It is reported that:

  • a group of males were gathered in the area
  • an altercation broke out between two males
  • during the altercation the suspect slashed the victim with a knife and fled on foot
  • the victim was transported to hospital

The man is described as 25-35 years old. He was wearing a black baseball cap with Nike logo, a black balaclava partially covering his face, a black hoodie, blue jeans, red sneakers and a purple Pokemon backpack.
