Fatal Collision #34/2022
Victoria Park Avenue at Surrey Avenue
On Friday August 5, 2022, at 3:33 p.m., police received a report of a motor vehicle collision on Victoria Park Avenue, south of Surrey Avenue.
It is reported that:
- A Toyota Corolla was being operated by a 74-year-old woman northbound on Victoria Park Avenue turning left into a plaza
- A Land Rover Ranger was being operated by a 26-year-old man southbound on Victoria Park Avenue when it collided with the Toyota Corolla turning left
- A passenger in the Toyota, an 86-year-old woman, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries
- She was pronounced deceased at the hospital
Police are asking local residents, business, and drivers, who may have witnessed the collision or who have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
