Man Arrested in Stabbing Investigation,
Lake Shore Boulevard and Parkside Drive,
Three Suspects Outstanding

The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of an arrest made in a stabbing investigation.

On Monday, May 21, 2024, at approximately 10:45 p.m., police responded to a call for a Stabbing in the Lake Shore Boulevard West and Parkside Drive area.

It is alleged that:

  • a group of males were setting off fireworks at bystanders at the park
  • another group of males confronted them and there was a physical altercation
  • two males were stabbed during the altercation
  • both victims attended hospital with non-life threatening injuries

Julius Bromfield, 18, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:

  1. Assault

He is scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury St, on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 11 a.m., in room 203.

Three suspects remain outstanding.

  • Suspect #1 is described as male, white, 5'9", early 20's, skinny build, wearing a white t-shirt.
  • Suspect #2 is described as male, early 20's, wearing a white surgical mask, black shirt and light colored shorts.
  • Suspect #3 is described as male, thin build, wearing a black sweater, light coloured jeans, and white running shoes.
