Suspect Sought in Assault Investigation,
Jane Street and Bloor Street West area,

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a suspect in an assault investigation.

On Monday, March 4, 2024 at approximately 8:15 p.m. police responded to a call for an assault in the Jane Street and Bloor Street West area.

It is reported that:

  • a man was on the eastbound platform at Jane Subway Station
  • the man approached the victim
  • unprovoked, the man assaulted the victim
  • the man fled the subway station on foot
  • the victim sustained minor injuries

The man is described as 6'0", with a slim build, black goatee and a gap between his front teeth. He was wearing a blue hooded sweater, dark pants, dark shoes and a black backpack.
