Suspects to be identified in a Break and Enter investigation,

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance identifying two suspects wanted in a Break and Enter investigation.

On Sunday, April 28, 2024, at approximately 6 a.m., police responded to a call for a break and enter in the Broadview Avenue and Queen Street East area. 

It is reported that:

  • a suspect gained entry into a commercial building 
  • the suspect entered a store in the building by forcibly prying open the rear door
  • the suspect then fled the area with a quantity of items taken from the store

Suspect #1 is described as male, 5'9"-5'11", 165-175lbs with a medium build. He was wearing grey New Balance running shoes with white soles, a white 'N' logo on the sides, grey socks, black jeans, and a dark grey Adidas hoodie with a large black Adidas Logo on the chest. He also wore a black winter jacket, a backpack under his clothes, and a light blue baseball cap under white a toque with dark blue/blue/grey/yellow stripes.

On Sunday, May 12, 2024, at approximately 2:30 a.m., police responded to a call for a break and enter at the same location in the Broadview Avenue and Queen Street East area. 

It is reported that:

  • the same suspect returned to the commercial building and gained entry 
  • the suspect was with another male suspect 
  • the two suspects entered the store by forcibly prying open the rear door
  • the suspects fled the area with a quantity of items taken from the store

Suspect #1 is described as male, with a beard and moustache. He was wearing a black hoodie underneath a grey camo print jacket with white stripes going along the sleeves, light grey jeans with a brown belt, and running shoes. He was carrying a black NHL hockey bag and a black backpack.

Suspect #2 is described as male, 6'0", 165-175lbs, thin build with a moustache and beard. He was wearing a green jacket with a black hoodie, blue jeans, and black shoes and carrying a utility cart with wheels.
