Firearms seized

Nine people face 111 charges after investigators executed a search warrant in Scarborough November 15 and seized two firearms.

Police allege they found a .45 calibre JR Carbine and a 9mm AB Arms ASR with ammunition drum as well as ammunition for both firearms during a search warrant at a residence in theVictoria Park Ave. and Finch Ave. E. area.

Most of the charges relate to possession of the firearms and some to possession of stolen property.

Abdullahi Hassan, 18, and Nicole Brand, 24, of Toronto were among those charged.

A 39-year-old woman as well as six people under 18 who can't be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act were also charged
