Toronto Police Service Hold Up investigators are requesting the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in an armed robbery investigation.

On Sunday, December 21, last year police responded to a robbery call at the Esso Gas Station at Finch Ave. E. and Markham Rd.

It is reported that a man approached a gas station employee in the parking lot at 11:30 p.m. and forced him to return to the cashier area at gunpoint.

The suspect, armed with a rifle, pointed the firearm at the victim and demanded cash and lottery tickets. The victim complied with the demands and the armed man fled.

The suspect is described as black, 30 to 35 years old, 5'10" and 190 pounds.

Investigators are hoping security images as well as surveillance camera video will lead someone to identify the suspect.
