Suspect Vehicle in Danforth Murder
Abdullah Farah, 20, was fatally shot shortly after being refused entry to a hookah lounge at 1530 Danforth Ave. near Cowell Ave. on April 17, 2016 at around 1.30 a.m.
“At that point, Mr. Farah and the two individuals he was with, turned, walked away and attempted to cross the Danforth at which time he was gunned down by occupants of the suspects’ vehicle that was proceeding eastbound on the Danforth,” Detective Leslie Dunkley said at a news conference at police headquarters on September 21.
Dunkley said it’s quite clear from the investigation that this was a targeted shooting.
“The issue that we don’t know is what the motive was,” he said.
The firearm used to kill Mr. Farah was recovered.
The motor vehicle police are looking for is a 2007 Pontiac G5 four-door white sedan.
“I am hoping that anyone that may have been in contact with this vehicle prior to the murder or thereafter will contact the Homicide Squad,” said Dunkley.
