Taxi Robbery Suspects On Camera

Police have arrested one man in connection with a taxi robbery but are still asking the public's help in identifying another man caught on the cab's security system.

Rory McMullen, 24, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with robbery.

It was reported that the suspects entered the cab on Saturday, October 4, at approximately 6:40 a.m. atFront Street East and Sherbourne Street,directing the driver to go toWellington Street West and Portland Street.

Once they they arrived at the destination, one of the suspects took the driver's property and began punching him, while the other suspect attempted to choke the driver from behind.

The suspects were last seen heading westbound on Wellington Street West.

Police want the public's help in identifying the second man who is described as white, 25 to 26 years-old, 5'7", and has a medium build. He was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt and grey shorts.
