Transit Patrol Lends Hand To Coat Drive

33 Division
Community Partnerships and Engagement Unit

Members of the Toronto Police Service Transit Patrol lent a helping hand to assist with the preparations for The Children's Breakfast Club winter coat drive.

The Children's Breakfast Clubassists children in need by providing 4,000 breakfast meals each week to students across Ontario. At times, additional needs are identified such as warm clothing, which is provided during the cold winter months.

The clothing donated will be sorted and then distributed as needed. Officers were pleased to be given the opportunity to help the local community in this endeavour on October 16 at the Peanut Plaza by sorting and packaging clothing for distribution.

To donate warm clothing please contact Rick Gosling at 905-474-8054 or visit theirwebsite.
