An alleged bank robber has been arrested 12 hours after a press conference at police headquarters, where a reward was offered for the arrest and conviction of two suspects.

Nathan Hunter, 20, surrendered to police at 41 Division around 10 p.m. on September 24. He faces 10 charges, including unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Police are still looking for Jesse Jack Breese, 21 who -- with Hunter – were wanted in connection with a violent bank robbery on May 24 at a TD Canada Trust Bank at 670 Warden Ave.

Hunter, along two other males – one of whom was the getaway driver -- arrived at the bank in a stolen 2017 Honda Accord.

Allegedly armed with a semi-automatic handgun, Breese discharged a round into the floor of the bank as terrified customers lay on the ground and Hunter demanded money from bank employees.

On Thursday June 7, the getaway driver and the third male who entered the bank were arrested in Bradford following a Toronto Police Hold Up investigation

Breese, also wanted by Barrie Police for attempted murder on June 3, is described a 6’3”, slim build with dark hair. He occasionally wears prescription glasses and is known to frequent Barrie and Toronto.
