Community Town Halls
Over the next two months there will be five Community Town Halls throughout Toronto. These Town Halls will provide community members a forum to learn more about the 2020 Use of Force and Strip Search Findings and provide feedback on the 38 action items put forward to address the outcomes of this report. Each Town Hall will be a hybrid-model with an in-person or virtual option. Please see below for the registration links and YouTube links for virtual participation.
UPDATE: At the request of community partners, the Service will be postponing our Community Town Halls until later this summer. We recognize the need to provide safe spaces for community members to attend and share their thoughts and experiences around the recently released RBDC data. Please check back here for updates. We will also provide updated information via our social media channels on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
