We Walk UHNited Event,

Event Details and Road Closures
The annual We Walk UHNited event will be taking place on Saturday, May 30, 2026. This event includes both a 2 km and 5 km route to raise funds for the UHN Foundation.
The participants will gather at the formation area at the Toronto General Hospital outdoor parking lot at 201 Elizabeth Street.
The walk will proceed:
- southbound on Elizabeth Street
- westbound on Dundas Street West
- northbound on St. Patrick Street
- westbound on Elm Street
- southbound on McCaul Street
- westbound on Dundas St West
- participants will turn around at Carlyle Street
- eastbound – Dundas Street West
- northbound – Elizabeth Street
- participants will disperse at the Toronto General Hospital outdoor parking lot at 201 Elizabeth St.
The following road closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.:
- Elizabeth Street will be closed from College Street to Dundas Street West (closure starts at 5 a.m.)
- Dundas Street West will be closed from Bay Street to Bathurst Street
- St. Patrick Street will be closed from Dundas Street West to Elm Street
- Elm Street will be closed from Murray Street to McCaul Street
- McCaul Street will be closed from Baldwin Street to Dundas Street West
TTC:
Streetcars on Dundas Street West will be using modified routes to accommodate this walk. Refer to TTC Service alerts for updates.
The event will take place regardless of weather conditions.
Motorists are advised that there may be delays in the area, and should consider alternate routes.
