Road Closures
On Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 11 a.m., the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) will hold their 54th Annual religious and cultural parade to celebrate the “Chariot Fest”.
The event will start at 11 a.m. and will conclude at approximately 2:00 p.m.
Parade Route:
- Formation Area – Edward Street, between Bay Street and Yonge Street
- Southbound on Yonge Street
- Eastbound on Queens Quay East
- Dispersal Area – Freeland Street, between Queens Quay East and Lake Shore Boulevard East
Road Closures:
- Full road closure of Edward Street from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Full road closure of Freeland Street from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Rolling road closures on southbound Yonge Street and eastbound Queens Quay East beginning at 11 a.m.
Motorists can expect delays in the area and should consider alternative methods of transportation.
