2026 Taste of the Danforth,

Road Closures
This weekend, the 2026 Taste of the Danforth street festival will take place from Friday, August 7, 2026, to Sunday, August 9, 2026.
Approximately 1,600,000 people are expected to attend the festivities to experience the culture and to enjoy the food and entertainment. This event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
An increased police presence will be in place throughout the event to support public safety. Festival attendees who require assistance or have concerns are encouraged to speak with our officers.
The following road closures will be in effect:
- Danforth Avenue will be closed to all vehicular traffic between Broadview Avenue and Jones Avenue during the event
- Road closures will go into effect at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026, and will remain in place until 3:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026
Drivers are advised to take alternative routes as there will be traffic delays in the area.
Various TTC Routes will be diverted away from the area. Please check ttc.ca for more information.
