On Friday, June 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., the Toronto Police Service will provide an update on the Service's operational plans for Pride Weekend and Canada Day celebrations. Inspector Tricia Johnston of 51 Division will speak to the Service’s preparations for Pride weekend, and Superintendent Dave Correa of 55 Division will speak to the planning for Canada Day celebrations, including the City of Toronto fireworks display at Ashbridges Bay Park. 

The stand-up will take place at 560 Church Street (at Church and Wellesley). This event will be broadcast via Dome Productions and live streamed on YouTube. Media may participate in the news conference in-person and will require identification indicating they are a member of an accredited media outlet.
