41 Division Community Police Liaison Committee Bursary
The 41 Division CPLC Bursary program is a program that launched in 2023. It was created to recognize financial needs of students and support students attending post-secondary school programs. 41 Division CPLC Bursary would like to recognize students who have been active participants and have contributed to their communities.
Who We Are
We are a committee of representatitves from the community, local businesses, schools, youth and police officers from 41 Division. Our mandate is to have meaningful community partnerships with Toronto Police Service, to help build community capacity, to be resource to police and community, as well as to be active in community relationships and crime prevention.
A minimum of $1,000 will be awarded to each student.
Who Can Apply?
You must meet all of the following criteria:
- The students must study or reside in the geographical area of 41 Division. The boundaries are:
- on the East - Brimley Road
- on the South - Lake Ontario
- on the West - Victoria Park Avenue
- on the North - HWY 401
- Must be a student graduating in 2024/2025
- Enrolled to start a full-time post-secondary program in 2025
- Have demonstrated commitment to co-curricular activities and community service
How Do I Apply?
An applicant must have a completed nomimation and application form. Once we receive an application, you will receive an email requesting supporting documents.
Required documents include:
- a copy of your current student timetable
- your most recent report card
- nominator application completed separately by nomimator
- a copy of your admission offer from the university, college, or trade school you will be attrending.
