Funeral Arrangements for Toronto Police Constable Marc Pinizzotto

Unit:

Toronto Police Constable Marc Pinizzotto died in the line of duty on Thursday, June 11, 2026. Constable Pinizzotto proudly served as a member of the Toronto Police Service for 18 years, most recently with the Emergency Task Force. He is survived by his wife Andrea and two children Daniella and Dominic.

The Toronto Police Service would like to thank members of the public who have offered their support and condolences.

The following arrangements have been finalized in parnership with Constable Pinizzotto’s family.

Funeral:

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at the Toronto Congress Centre, North Building, 650 Dixon Rd, Etobicoke.

Members of the public are invited to observe the funeral procession as it travels from the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home (8088 Yonge Street) to the Toronto Congress Centre.

While we appreciate the public’s support, the funeral is not open to the general public. It will include communities close to the family, police services and emergency service personnel.

Broadcast information and further details about the funeral and procession route will be provided to the media and public in the coming days, including confirmation of pool media and staging for the day.

Private Visitation:

Private visitations for Constable Pinizzotto are taking place for family, friends, and colleagues on the days prior to the funeral and will not be open to media or the public.

Media may situate across the street from the funeral home, but are not permitted inside. We request that media not approach family or Service members attending so they may pay their respects in private.
