Man Arrested in an Aggravated Assault Investigation,
Yonge Street and Poyntz Avenue area
The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of an arrest made in an Aggravated Assault investigation.
On Sunday, October 18, 2026, at approximately 11:00 a.m., police responded to a call for a See Ambulance in the Yonge Street and Poyntz Avenue area.
It is alleged that:
- the suspect attended a gas station in the area
- the suspect assaulted the victim and then fled the area
- the victim sustained serious injuries
Adrian Allen, 30, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
- Assault with a Weapon
- Aggravated Assault
He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., in room 105.
