On Monday, October 26, 2026, at approximately 3:03 p.m., police responded to a call for a Personal Injury Collision in the Willowdale Avenue and Elmwood Avenue area.

It is reported that:

• a 67-year-old female was driving a grey 2015 Subaru Crosstrek northbound on Willowdale Avenue
• two pedestrians, a 76-year-old female and an 8-year-old female, were crossing Willowdale Avenue at Elmwood Avenue
• while crossing, the pedestrians were both struck by the vehicle
• both pedestrians were transported to hospital
• the 76-year-old female suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries
• the 8-year-old female suffered life-threatening injuries
• the driver remained on scene

The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.

Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
