Man Arrested for Assaulting a Toronto Police Parking Enforcement Officer,
Queen Street East and Victoria Street area
The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of an arrest made in an Assault Peace Officer investigation.
On Monday, November 2, 2026, at 9:39 a.m., police responded to a call for an Assault Peace Officer in the Queen Street East and Victoria Street area.
It is alleged that:
- the victim, a Parking Enforcement Officer (PEO), completed a parking violation notice
- the victim was then followed by a man in his vehicle
- the man exited his vehicle and assaulted the victim and stole her handheld ticket machine
Abdul Karim Brat Ali, 50, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with
- Assault Peace Officer
- Theft Under $5000
He is scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury Street, on Monday, January 25, 2027, at 11:00 a.m., in room 203.
