Man Arrested in Assault Investigation,
College Station,
College Street and Yonge Street area
The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of an arrest made in an Assault investigation.
On Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at approximately 6 p.m., police responded to a call for an Assault at College Station in the College Street and Yonge Street area.
It is alleged that:
- the 14-year-old male victim and accused were both on board a TTC subway train
- after arriving at College Station, the accused approached the victim and the two engaged in a verbal altercation
- the accused then assaulted the victim
- the victim was taken to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries
Diego Gedge, 24, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
- Assault Causing Bodily Harm
He is scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., in room 301.
Investigators are looking to speak to anyone who might have witnessed this incident.
