The Toronto Police Service is notifying the public of an arrest made in a Sexual Assault investigation.

On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, police responded to a call for a Sexual Assault in the Albion Road and Silverstone Drive area.

It is alleged that:

• at approximately 9 p.m., a female victim was walking in the area
• the suspect emerged from a townhouse complex in the area
• the suspect sexually assaulted the victim
• the suspect then fled into a nearby townhouse complex

On Wednesday, September 9, 2026, police responded to a call for a Sexual Assault in the same area.

It is further alleged that:

• on September 9, 2026, another female victim was walking in the same area at the same time
• the victim observed the same suspect exit a townhouse complex
• the suspect followed the victim
• the suspect then sexually assaulted the victim and fled into a townhouse complex

Adnan Koya, 39, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:

1. two counts of Sexual Assault

He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury Street, on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., in room 201.

Investigators believe there may be more victims. The accused is described as 5'8" - 5'10", has a medium build, brown eyes, is bald, and has a stubble beard. He was wearing a blue jacket, with hoodie up, black track pants, and has a distinctive shuffle walk.
