On Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Rexall location at 474 Spadina Ave. Toronto Police Service Inspector Roger Caracciolo, Rexall pharmacist Maricar Paraiso, Dave Friesema from Substance Canada’s Board of Directors, and Health Products Stewardship Association (HPSA) CEO Delphine Lagourgue will be kicking off their collaborative education campaign on the safe storing and disposing of medications to prevent misuse and abuse.

With school back in session, the risk of substance use can increase. Toronto Police, Rexall Pharmacy and Substance are committed to protecting the health and safety of Toronto residents by empowering them with the knowledge they need to prevent accidental overdoses.
