Toronto Police Wrap Up 2025 Festive R.I.D.E. Campaign
Toronto Police have concluded the annual 2025 Festive R.I.D.E. campaign, which ran from November 20, 2025, to January 2, 2026.
This annual campaign promotes traffic enforcement and awareness, and showcases the risks of impaired driving, not only during the holiday season, but at any time of the year and any time of the day.
Throughout the campaign, Toronto Police and each of its divisions increased patrols and conducted spot checks citywide.
Between November 20 and January 2, Toronto Police stopped 23,811 vehicles and conducted more than 2,200 roadside breath tests. This led to 201 arrests across spot checks and all other types of enforcement during the campaign.
While the campaign has concluded, Toronto Police will continue to enforce impaired driving laws and keep our roads safe. When you choose to drive impaired, you’re not only putting your life in danger, but the lives of others on the road.
Officers from our Traffic Services Unit are available to speak to media about the results of the festive R.I.D.E. campaign.
