The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of two arrests made in a Firearm Discharge investigation.

On Saturday, October 10, 2026, at approximately 3:11 a.m., police responded to a call for a Sound of Gunshots in the Kipling Avenue and Bloor Street area.

It is alleged that:

• the two accused were in the area; one of the accused discharged a firearm into the air
• there were no reported injuries

Officers from the Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force commenced an investigation into the incident. Members of the Centralized Shooting Response Team #4 continued the investigation and identified the two accused as the parties responsible for the discharge of the firearm.   

On Saturday, October 10, 2026, one of the accused parties was located and arrested by investigators.

On Thursday, October 15, 2026, the second accused party was located and arrested. A Criminal Code search warrant was executed at a location in the City of Toronto. During a search of the location officers located a loaded 9mm Glock 43 handgun and a loaded .40 calibre Glock 27 handgun.

Images of the seized firearms have been released. 

Noor Osman Noor, 45, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. Possess Firearm Without Holding a Licence 
2. Possess Firearm Other Than Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly Not Holding a Licence 
3. Possess Loaded Regulated Firearm 
4. Possess Prohibited/Restricted Weapon or Prohibited Device Knowing No Authority
5. Discharge Firearm into a Place/Reckless To Others 
6. Possess Weapon/Dangerous to the Public Peace 
7. Breach of Probation 

He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in room 107.

Adrian Alanzo Chalmers-Lewis, 35, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. Discharge Firearm Into a Place/Reckless To Others 
2. two counts of Possess Firearm Without Holding a Licence
3. two counts of Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly Not Holding a Licence And Registration Certificate
4. two counts of Possess Loaded Regulated Firearm 
5. two counts of Possess Prohibited/Restricted Weapon or Prohibited Device Knowing No Authority 
6. Possess Weapon/Dangerous To The Public Peace 
7. two counts of Use/Handle/Store Firearm, Etc. Carelessly

He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., room 105.
