Recognizing A Community Champion
Community Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) member Lily Wong has been named the recipient of the 31 Division Community Champion Award in recognition of her outstanding dedication to community service and leadership.
Superintendent Jack Gurr praised Wong for her unwavering commitment to supporting residents and strengthening community partnerships through sitting on the divisional CPLC.
“Lily is a true example of what it means to lead with compassion, dedication, and a genuine commitment to making a difference,” he said. “Day after day, she goes above and beyond to support others, create opportunities, and bring people together. Her willingness to work tirelessly to give back to the 31 Division community and surrounding areas reflects her incredible character and passion for helping others.”
He added that Wong’s leadership extends beyond the many roles she holds.
“Her leadership is measured by the kindness, respect, and positive impact she brings to every person she meets,” Gurr pointed out. “Her commitment to service, her drive to do what is right, and her ability to inspire those around her make her a true community champion.”
