BRAVE T.O. First Responders Challenge Raises Funds for Scarborough Hospital Foundation

On Saturday, September 24, 2016, Brave T.O., in support of The Scarborough Hospital Foundation, unveiled a brand new obstacle course designed by police, fire and paramedic professionals. The course replicates challenges faced by first-responders. This unique fundraising event was held in Morningside Park in the Scarborough. Participants were registered as individuals or teams, and choose from five different race waves designed to suit people of all ages and athletic abilities. Chief Mark Saunders has thrown his full support behind Brave T.O. “This is an amazing event that will challenge you like no other. I am daring you, whether you are part of a team of first-responders or part of a group of friends and colleagues looking for adventure, to accept the Brave T.O. Challenge. This course will put your emergency response fitness to the test.” The Scarborough Hospital is required to raise 100% of funds for the purchase of new equipment. Proceeds will help purchase vital life-saving apparatus and support patient care. Visit http://www.Brave.TO to learn more about this inaugural event.
