Chief Demkiw Visits Downtown CORE Outreach Teams

“They are the angels on the street” say some of the city’s most vulnerable, as they talk about the Toronto Public Health Nurses who connect them to community services, housing, primary heath care, mental health care, and social programs. Chief Myron Demkiw went to see the Community Outreach Response and Engagement Teams (C.O.R.E) in action, which includes Toronto Police Officers, collaborating every day with TPH nurses.
