Profiling the Jane & Finch Boys & Girls Club, a United Way-funded agency

The 2017 Toronto Police United Way Campaign is underway! In this video, Neighbourhood Officers from 23 Division visit the Jane and Finch Boys & Girls Club - a United Way agency - to meet with the staff and children, and see some of the many innovative programs offered there. Neighbourhood Officer P.C. Nelson Santizo, who grew up in the Jane & Finch area, and Community Director Risa Antoine discuss the many successes and challenges facing the Club, and the youth in the area, and show how United Way funding has helped make the neighbourhood safer for kids. Over the last 10 years, Toronto Police Service members have raised over $5 million dollars for the United Way through the annual giving campaign. The Jane and Finch Boys & Girls Club is just one example of "Where We Give", and the Service is looking forward to a successful 2017 United Way campaign!
