Project Kronic arrests and charges news conference

@TorontoPolice News Conference | LiveStream | Friday, June 16th, 2017 On Friday, June 16, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., in the Media Gallery at Toronto Police Headquarters, Deputy Chief Jim Ramer and Inspector Peter Moreira of the Integrated Gun & Gang Task Force updated the media on Project Kronic. Representatives from the Ontario Provincial Police, York Region Police and the Greater Sudbury Police Service will also be in attendance. Background: In the early morning hours of Thursday, June 15, 2017, officers from Project Kronic executed 77 search warrants across Ontario. It is a Toronto Police Service project, with assistance from 19 police services, targeting the Driftwood Crips, their associates and other criminal participants. The project has investigated homicides, shootings, kidnappings, firearms and drug trafficking.
