Reflecting on Sacrifice at Canadian Police & Peace Officers' Memorial
Over 450 Toronto Police uniform and civilian members, led by Chief Myron Demkiw, attended the Canadian Police and Peace Officers' Memorial ceremony on Parliament Hill in Ottawa on September 28. “This is a very powerful expression of the importance of us as a community to come together to reflect and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and, importantly, to remember the survivors – the friends, families and loved ones – who continue to honour the legacy of lost family members, friends and colleagues,” said Demkiw.
