Reward Update for Homicide #49/2016 News Conference

On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at 10 a.m., in the media gallery at headquarters, Homicide Detective Leslie Dunkley spoke to the media on the investigation into Homicide #49/2016. See excerpt from original news release: On Sunday, September 11, 2016, at 4:04 a.m., the Toronto Police Service responded to a report of a shooting in the area of Liberty Street and Mowat Avenue. It is reported that: - the victim, who has been identified as Kiesingar Gunn, 26, of Toronto, was in the Liberty Street and Mowat Avenue area, - shots were fired and he was struck by a bullet, taken to hospital in serious condition, and succumbed to his injuries just before midnight on Sunday, September 11, 2016, - police do not believe he was the intended target of the shooting. Police are asking anyone who may have been at the scene, who may have cell phone video or photos, to contact police.
