Officers located a woman, with an apparent gunshot wound, in an alley at the rear of a home. She was pronounced at the scene. She has been identified as Peggy Ann Smith, 61, of Toronto. A post-mortem examination is scheduled for today. Two young men were seen fleeing the area, northbound, towards Dundas Street East.
