Surveillance video of elderly man robbed

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in the identification of a person involved in a violent chain-grab robbery of an elderly, visually impaired victim. On Monday, May 5, 2014, at approximately 5 p.m., a man, 63, was walking through a park, on his way home. It is reported that: - he was approached from the rear by an unknown man - the elderly man was knocked to the ground as his necklace was stolen - the suspect fled the park He is black, dark skinned, 18-25, 5'8"-6'0", wearing dark pants, a dark vest and a dark coloured Adidas hoodie with a white Adidas symbol on the back of the hood. The suspect was also wearing white shoes, with dark soles.
