@TorontoPolice News Conference Re: NYE Queen/Bathurst Assault | Thurs., Jan., 17th/2019 | 1030AM

On Thursday, January 17, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., in the Media Gallery at Toronto Police Headquarters, Detective Scott Allan of 14 Division will hold a news conference about an aggravated assault investigation. On Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at 12:30 a.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for an assault in the Queen Street West and Bathurst Street area. It is reported that: - a 36-year old man was walking along Queen Street West and got involved in an altercation with two men - the 36-year-old man was punched by a one man and fell to the ground unconscious, where he was then punched again by a second man - the two men fled the area southbound on Bathurst Street in a newer model blue Dodge Charger vehicle Suspect #1 is described as 25-35 years of age, 6'0", slim build, with corn rows and a beard. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black running shoes. Suspect #2 is described as 25-35 years of age, 5'9", short black hair. He was wearing glasses, a black hooded jacket, ripped faded blue jeans, and blue/white running shoes.
