TPS Announce New Buy and Sell Exchange Zones During Crime Prevention Week

On Monday, November 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., Chief Myron Demkiw launched Crime Prevention Week with an announcement to support a new city-wide crime prevention initiative. Chief Demkiw was joined by Solicitor General Michael Kerzner, Mayor Olivia Chow, Toronto Police Service Board Chair Councillor Shelley Carroll, Brian Callahan of the Toronto Police Association, and Dr. Jose Couto of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police. This year's Crime Prevention Week theme is "Protecting Ontario Together."
