Uniting for Prayer Walk

Chief Myron Demkiw, Mayor Olivia Chow, Toronto Police Service Board Chair Shelley Carroll, members of the Toronto Police Service, faith leaders, and community members will be participating in a Prayer Walk in neighbourhoods across Toronto. The city-wide Prayer Walk is modeled after 23 Division’s Etobicoke Strategy. Each month, for the past 21 years, police and faith leaders have walked through neighbourhoods in 23 Division to meet community members, build relationships, and engage in prayer. TPS members, faith leaders, and community members will walk through their neighbourhoods, stopping along the way to pray. The Prayer Walk is open to all faiths and community members are encouraged to participate.
