The unit is comprised of police officers, analysts, researchers, statistical facilitators and coordinators.

The Analytics & Innovation team provide leadership and oversight of Business Intelligence, Crime Analytics and Evidence-Based Decision Support as part of the Chief’s Office, Strategy Management Unit. Using information management technologies for operational and strategic deployment, the team drives the development and application of advanced analytics and innovation. The Unit is responsible for the overall production of official statistics internally and externally including open data and ensures accuracy, quality, and consistency of this critical information.
