Inspector Christopher Ruhl 2nd In Command 43 Division
Inspector Christopher Ruhl has proudly served with the Toronto Police Service for over 22 years. Promoted to Staff Sergeant on June 7, 2021, he brings extensive experience across various units including Homicide, Financial Crimes, Traffic Services, and 43 Division.
Throughout his career, Inspector Ruhl has held key leadership roles such as Executive Officer to Deputy Chief Pogue in Community Safety Command, as well as to the Staff Superintendent of Detective Operations. His commitment to professional growth is reflected in his completion of advanced leadership programs from the Schulich School of Business, Ontario Police College, and Toronto Police Service.
He holds a B.A. of Human Services degree from Georgian College and a Police Foundations diploma from Sir Sanford Fleming College. His dedication to excellence has been recognized through numerous awards, including the Police Exemplary Service Medal in 2023 and multiple Teamwork Commendation and Unit Commander Awards.
