Online Reporting Notice
The Online Reporting portal will undergo maintenance on Saturday October 24, from 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. You may experience issues submitting reports during this time.
Please try after 3:00 PM or call 416-808-2222 to report by phone, and ask to speak to an operator.
If this is an emergency, or you are a victim or witness to a crime that is in progress or has just occurred, you or someone else is injured, or weapon(s) were indicated or are being used, contact 9-1-1 right away.
Thank you for your patience.
If property was stolen from your vehicle, please file a Theft from Vehicle Under $5,000 report. Please provide a detailed description of what happened in the incident description section, with the approximate date and time you discovered the damage, and the last date and time you saw your vehicle intact.
The following cannot be reported online:
- If your vehicle ignition has been tampered with, this is an Attempted Theft of Vehicle. Please call our non-emergency line at 416-808-2222 to report
- When a parked vehicle is struck by another vehicle and the driver leaves the scene of the incident, it is considered to be a Fail to Remain Collision. Report this in person to a Collision Reporting Centre.
- When a person opens their vehicle door and strikes the side of your parked vehicle and causes damage, it is considered to be a civil matter, a police report is NOT required. Call your insurance provider if you wish to make a claim.
