Drug Squad

The Drug Squad is comprised of investigative sections that include the Major Project Section (which includes a Canadian Borders Services Agency Intelligence Officer), the Clandestine Laboratory Unit, the multi-agency Toronto Airport Drug Enforcement Unit and Street Enforcement Teams.

The majority of the detectives and support staff who are assigned to the Toronto Drug Squad conduct a wide range of criminal investigations, such as

• Provide guidance on drug-trafficking related investigations
• Enforcement on drug possession, drug trafficking and importing offences
• Possession of proceeds of crime offences
• Street gang and/or organized crime enforcement
• Enforcement in relation to offences committed at Pearson International Airport
