Thank You to the Equity in Mental Health Crisis Responses (EMHCR) Working Group

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Equity in Mental Health Crisis Responses (EMHCR) Working Group. Since May 2025, this dedicated group of experts has generously shared invaluable knowledge and experience, guiding our work to co-design solutions that address racial disparities in mental health crisis response.

Bringing together key system partners who influence the complex pathways of persons in crisis, the Working Group contributed diverse experiences and perspectives essential to a whole-of-system approach.

In the coming weeks, the group will submit proposed solutions, along with early implementation considerations, to help inform the next stage of this work.

We are grateful for the expertise, commitment, and collaboration of every member, and wish them continued success in their future endeavours.
