Toronto Police Service Homicide is comprised of a very dedicated group of men and women who are extremely committed to conducting quality investigations, ensuring that those responsible are held accountable for their actions in a court of law.
Details of Investigation
On Sunday, April 27, 2003 at about 3:38 a.m., police responded to a fire call on Virgo Starway. The victim was discovered inside a residence, suffering from smoke inhalation. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency personnel, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim of Homicide #16/2003 (Khadji MANJI) was also discovered at the same location, suffering from smoke inhalation. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency personnel, this victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people were also discovered at the same location, suffering from medical trauma. These people were treated by emergency personnel, and are expected to survive their injuries.
