Toronto Police Service Homicide is comprised of a very dedicated group of men and women who are extremely committed to conducting quality investigations, ensuring that those responsible are held accountable for their actions in a court of law.
Details of Investigation
On Monday, June 8, 1998, at about 1:14 a.m., police responded to a shooting at 50 Cowdray Court. The victim was discovered inside the Fit For Life Fitness club, suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to hospital, where he died shortly after arrival. Another person was discovered at a nearby hospital, also suffering from gunshot wounds previously received at 50 Cowdray Court. This person was treated by emergency personnel, and is expected to survive his injuries. There were an estimated 200 people in attendance at a dance event held at this location, who may be potential witnesses.
