On Thursday July17th, 2025, at approximately 6:13 am, Toronto Police Service received a call for a shooting at the
Yorkdale Mall located at 3401 Dufferin Street, Toronto.
Members of 32 Division attended and located a person later identified as Kashif Jamal BENTLEY-JEAN, suffering from
gunshot wounds outside entrance #3. Despite best efforts by Paramedics and responding officers, BENTLEY-JEAN was
pronounced deceased at 0628hrs via hospital link.
