Toronto Police Service Homicide is comprised of a very dedicated group of men and women who are extremely committed to conducting quality investigations, ensuring that those responsible are held accountable for their actions in a court of law.
Details of Investigation
On Sunday, July 23, 2017, at about 1 a.m., police responded to a shooting on Gennela Square. The victim was discovered in the rear yard of a residence, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency personnel, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim of Homicide #25/2017 (Dwayne CAMPBELL, 30 yrs) was also discovered at this location, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency personnel, this victim was also pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was also discovered at the same location, suffering from gunshot wounds. This person was treated by emergency personnel, and is expected to survive her injuries.
